After spending 36 years at Rocky Point Elementary School, Ms. Eakins now has a permanent spot in the history of the school. The outdoor learning area has been dedicated in her honor. Two plaques were also dedicated to the lives of two previous students who passed away. #PCSPride
Health Science 2 students at Pender High School completed their job interview portion of the course this past week. Our CTE teachers are constantly preparing our students for real world activities. We are ensuring our students are enrolled, enlisted or employed upon graduation.

Pender County Schools 8th graders at Burgaw Middle, Cape Fear Middle, Penderlea, Topsail Middle, Surf City Middle, and West Pender Middle have completed four-year plans in preparation for high school registration. They entered core class requirements and potential electives in Major Clarity to better understand the options available to them in high school. High school counselors, career development coordinators, and their 8th grade teachers and counselors collaborated to provide information about electives, credentials, and graduation requirements.
