NC Educator Program Qualifications

Certified applicants must hold a current North Carolina Teaching License in the area in which they are applying.

NC Educator Preparation Program Qualifications

Lateral Entry Program Qualifications

Applicants interested in being hired as a lateral entry teacher should comply with the Lateral Entry Program Qualifications.

Compensation

Certified Teacher's salary is based on the State Salary Schedule plus 9% local teacher supplement, and state and local employee's benefits package unless otherwise stated. Classified employees receive compensation based on the State Salary Schedule plus local supplement, state and local employee's benefits package unless otherwise stated.

School bus driver compensation ranges from $15.79 - $20.44 hourly.
