Cooper's 4th Graders are ready for field day!!!

Go Ospreys Go! Field day was awesome. A huge thanks to Coach Redd and everyone who worked to make it a success! Check out these Kindergarten Classes having fun.

Each 2nd grader received 5 books and a bookmark to continue their summer reading thanks to the "Give 5 Read 5" initiative from Peggy Harris, former 2nd grade teacher and other generous local organizations.

Mrs. Wilson and Dr. Gates are wonderful about spending time with our students. They joined Mrs. Overby's class to read aloud some fan-favorites, "Potato Pants" and "The Day the Crayons Quit." We love having them as guest readers!

We love when students get to teach other students! Check out these 4th graders who presented The Battle of Moore's Creek to 2nd graders last week.

Mrs. Lee and her class gave 2nd graders a look into what next year will be like! They answered questions and shared thoughtful cards of encouragement. Ms. Herring's class is feeling confident to transition into their new role next year as 3rd graders.

Mrs. Cooper's 4th class is very excited about their "Moving Up" ceremony!!! They had so much fun making their biography poems! Yay 4th graders!! You are almost to the end of your 4th grade year!

These talented 4th graders used their knowledge about value to create these beautiful Mona Lisa portraits!

their big 5K on Saturday! It was an awesome morning for a great race!
We even took some medals - Harper won 3rd overall female! Harper,
Addy, and Charlotte were 1st, 2nd, and 4th in their age group!

Girls on the Run completed their community impact project this week! They picked up all the pinecones, cleaned up trash, swept mulch, and brought in lost and found items. Now, we're even more ready for Field Day and Summer Splash! Way to go, girls!
