
This morning our SCE Sea Turtles had the opportunity to congratulate and support Coach Ramsey and the SCM Lady Sharks basketball team as they took their championship walk through the hallways. 🐢🦈🏀🥇

Yesterday, Mrs. Hahn's second graders dove into the exciting world of biography writing! Students used their chromebooks to research the life of Ruby Bridges and then worked collaboratively with their table teams to gather key information and create timelines highlighting important events in her life. Today, they will use their research to write their own biographies on Ruby Bridges!




Ms. Bohrer's hands-on learning got a little messy yesterday as they practiced their Fundations trick words in the most exciting way!






Yesterday and today, our first grade classes enjoyed a field trip to Sturgeon City where they participated in learning about the basic needs of plants, push and pull physics, sharks, went to a planetarium show as well as a wetland walk. 🌳🌷⭐🦈

Our 3rd grade classes welcomed instructors with The Coastal Land Trust yesterday in preparation for their trip to Everett Creek, one of many protected areas thanks to CLT. They learned about the parts of a plant needed for pollination and left with their own seedlings. 🌱

Yesterday, our second graders spent the day at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington where they learned about the three states of matter through the exploration and creation of slime. Students also got time to check out all of the hands-on fun the museum has to offer!
