SCE was well represented at Saturday’s Regional Science Fair at UNCW. We had two groups to earn awards. First, Honorary Mention went to Carter, Elijah & Gage in 4th grade (not pictured). While Harper, Hailey & Audrina in 5th grade received an Exemplary Project within the Elementary Division for their Cold Wash Challenge Project. They will be moving on to the State Science Fair on March 29th at NC State in Raleigh.

Mrs. Seferyn's 4th graders are working hard to learn how to change mixed numbers to fractions greater than one and back again. They are using a variety of models to understand this new concept and taking the time to explain their thinking. Great work, mathematicians.

Who’s ready for a weekend challenge?! 🙋♀️ Get a $60 flat donation or $2 per lap donation before Monday and you’ll score a GOLDEN EDITION Dude Perfect keychain! 😮 Good luck!
