Mrs. Chandler's PreK class participated in an apple tasting activity. First, the students practiced identifying and naming different colored apples. Then they tasted the apples and practiced answering "yes/no" questions by stating whether or not they liked the apples. 🍏🍎

Thanks to everyone who wore green this week to support Mental Health Awareness. We learned how important it is to listen when talking to our friends. Being supportive of others makes our tough times easier. 💚

Ms. Polster is busy in music class this week! ♫ 3rd grader students are using Garage Band as they begin to explore & create electronic music. While 2nd grade is working on solfege & hand bells. Solfege is a musical method using syllables like "do, re, mi" to teach children to sing in tune, understand musical patterns, and learn to read music by connecting sounds to notes. 🔗https://youtu.be/Ic1rs0jBl0A

Ever wonder what happens to library books when they're no longer able to remain in circulation? The pages of loved characters get turned into buttons, that way we can take these great stories with us wherever we go. 😊📚
