Mrs. Livesey’s Kindergarten class is getting ready to enjoy the book, Day in the Life of Bubble Gum, on this beautiful fall day. ☀️ They're answering questions throughout the book about where the piece of bubble gum has traveled while also learning about the 5 senses. 📚

2nd graders are working on the importance of listening to the whole message when a classmate speaks so they can link comments to what other have said. Kindergarten
is learning about the number zero with their balloon problems. They practiced answering questions like How many, How many were taken away & How many balloons are left? Keep up the great work Sea Turtles!

4th Graders are learning about famous women who had "great hearts". Their guiding question is, "What does it mean to have a great heart, literally and figuratively? ❤️




Mrs. Pastore's 2nd grade class celebrated the fall equinox by test tasting their favorite apples and had a tie! They also completed a sink and float experiment from their reading unit and made accurate predictions!





We're happy to share with you that Effie K. from Mrs. Edens' 2nd grade class is our Sea Turtle of the Week for the week of September 18-22. Effie, your school is proud of you.

Mrs. McDonald’s kindergarten students using the Fundations vowel extension poster to increase their phonemic awareness. Short vowel sounds need a lot of practice! Plus a future reader.



Mr. Jeff has chosen Mrs. Edens' 2nd grade class as the first recipient of the Golden Trash Can Award. Their hard work cleaning their classroom has earned them the top spot this week. Mr. Jeff is proud of ALL sea turtles and their responsibility for their classrooms.

2nd Grade is learning about weather in their Wit & Wisdom unit. They worked hard on their umbrella writing based on the weather poem they’ve been studying and have been observant and thoughtful in their work.




Mrs. Parrish's STEAM class is hard at work learning about engineering techniques with K’nex.
