We're happy to share with you that Sophia H. from Mrs. Edwards' 1st grade class is our Sea Turtle of the Week for the week of April 17-21 . Sophia, your school is proud of you.
First grade is growing lettuce in the courtyard. In a few weeks they will harvest the lettuce and use it to feed the sea turtles at The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Rice's 4th grade works together just like all the branches of the military which is why they wore purple today to show their support during our Military Spirit Week.
5th Grade Parents ➡️ Don't forget! THIS Wednesday there will be a Band Interest and Instrument rental night at Surf City Middle School. The meeting starts at 6pm and will run until 7pm. Information on how to rent an instrument and how band class works in middle school will be shown. All students and parents are welcome! Half of our fourth graders were able visit Tryon Palace, the first permanent capitol of North Carolina, last week. The other half of the grade is looking forward to going this week. Great job continuing to learn about the history of our state 4th grade!
Mrs. Wilkie's class enjoyed another day with the Master Gardeners who taught them about bees and pollination. Mrs. Wyatt’s class conducted a STEM activity with Easter eggs that used Play-Dough to see how many they could stack. All kids had an Eggscellent day!
