Science Alliance of Eastern North Carolina visited our 3rd graders today! They delivered their Body Works program that helped students understand human body systems and how they are essential for life; protection, movement and support. Students had hands-on experience with many models like the heart and skeletal system. 🦴🫀

A HUGE shout out to our Science Olympiad Team. The team put forth a great effort this weekend and many kids won in their event. Thank you to Mrs. Parrish, Dr. Martin, Ms. Faircloth, Ms. Vincent-Horne, Ms. Parker, Ms. Powell, and Ms. Albertson who put in a lot of after school hours for this team. Thanks for leading future scientists and instilling the love of exploration & discovery in each one of them!
