Our 5th graders had the opportunity to tour Surf City Middle School today to get a feel for where they will be learning next year. SCM is excited have these wonderful kids!

There is an instrument interest/rental night at Surf City Middle School this Thursday from 6pm - 7pm. This is for any student/family who was unable to attend the meeting on April 19th. Mrs. Rice's ELA classes work hard each week with their dictation paragraphs. During this time each day, they work on spelling, listening skills and handwriting. The students and Mrs. Rice work together to correct their work while they talk about spelling patterns. Great writing 4th grade!




A BIG congratulations to our Battle of the Books team. They traveled to Morehead City today to compete in the Regional BOB Competition against 7 neighboring counties and came in 5th place. Way to go BOB team, your school is proud of you! 📚
