
Our little Rams are practicing today for tomorrow’s Veterans Day assembly at 12:45!



3rd grade took a field trip to Airlie Gardens on Friday to learn about plants, soil, decomposers, and pollinators! It was a beautiful day for a fun field trip!





Raffle time!! Our PTO is holding a Veterans Day raffle with lots of great prizes up for grabs - Tupperware sets, cookware, an American Girl doll and a Keurig coffee maker! Students were sent home with an order form this week, and you can contact Ms. Perez for more details (adriana_perez@pender.k12.nc.us). Good luck!

Our hard-working RAM students and staff were celebrated at tonight’s board of education meeting for meeting growth in ALL subjects in ALL grades and in ALL subgroups for the 2021-2022 school year! I am proud beyond words to serve the stakeholders of Rocky Point Elementary School!

1st Grade went to the farm! Students learned all about farm life, pumpkins, and corn mazes!

What are you doing this Saturday? Hopefully, you’re coming to our Hispanic Heritage Celebration! It will be at Heide Trask from 4pm-8pm; admission is $5 per car. There will be food for sale, as well as free games and student performances! See you there!



For Fire Safety Week, the Rocky Point Fire Department came out to our school to teach Kindergarten and 1st Grade all about fire safety! We even got to meet a special guest...Smokey the Bear!
