Please plan on joining us on Tuesday, May 9th for a fun-filled evening! The 2nd and 3rd graders will be presenting their Spring Performances, followed by Transition Night, which is for our rising Kindergarten-5th Grade students. At Transition Night, families will get to visit their student's grade level team for next year and learn more about what they will do in that grade. And while you're here, you can grab some food AND visit our Spring Book Fair - you won't want to miss it!


DID YOU KNOW....It's time for the Spring Book Fair! The event will be held next week, from Monday, May 8th-Friday, May 12th. The Book Fair will also be open on Tuesday, May 9th from 5pm-8pm during the Spring Performance and Transition Night event. Can't wait to see you there!

5th Grade Families,
Cape Fear Middle School will be hosting a "Transition to 6th Grade" night on May 4 from 5:30-7:00pm. Invitations will be coming home next week!

Congratulations to Ms Mohn's 2nd grade class for receiving over 250 Rams this year! Rams are given out to a class when they are showing their most respectful manners and choosing to be safe and responsible. Way to go!!

The Dancing Drum team will be coming to Rocky Point on April 27th to work with the 3rd-5th graders. Students will learn a number of drum ensemble pieces throughout the day, and then present a concert at 1:00pm in the gym. We hope to see all families there!

Join us in celebrating Military Spirit Week from April 17th through the 21st.

Mark your calendar - we've got a big night planned! On April 20th at 5:30pm, we will have the 4th and 5th grade Spring Performances, followed by STEAM & Math Night! Dinner will be provided; you won't want to miss it!

Ms. Harman's class has been participating in some Easter-themed activities, including a math scavenger hunt! And after all that hard work, they needed some relaxation time at recess!

It's been a busy week at RPE! This past Tuesday, our Battle of the Books team competed against students from across the county, testing their knowledge on a series of books that they spent all year reading! We are so proud of these rockstar readers!
