Making Friends is an Art. We finally got outside to make some art with our friends!

Sixth Grade is learning how anthropologists work as part of our introduction to prehistory. They saw how challenging the job is and how precise they have to be with their findings. Students charted each chip they removed on a graph and were only allowed to use a toothpick to remove the pieces.

First grade is practicing how to make new friends by starting with Hello. Since its so hot out we brought the sidewalk inside.

Pender County Schools is happy to announce Penderlea School as a 2024-25 PCS Middle School Staff Honor Roll Award recipient. The entire coaching staff achieved the Level 1 designation through the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). This is the second year in a row that the coaching staff at Penderlea has earned this award.
