To celebrate the end of Module 1 in Wit & Wisdom, 2nd graders went on a quick "nature walk" around the building to collect some leaves for our activities today. Students have been learning about the change in seasons and how that affects plants and animals. They completed their EOM Task where they wrote about the different changes that happen in fall, so we also did a leaf rubbing collage and talked about the different leaves we have collected.

Attention all middle school student-athletes and families! Fall sports tryouts are right around the corner, and we want YOU to be a part of the Penderlea Pride! 💪
✅ MANDATORY Parent Meeting
All athletes must have a parent/guardian attend the mandatory meeting on Monday, August 4th at 5:30 PM in the gym to be eligible to try out.
📋 All required forms must be completed on BigTeams, including an uploaded, up-to-date sports physical.
NO EXCEPTIONS – athletes without completed forms and physicals will not be allowed to try out.
🗓 Tryout/Workout Schedule:
🥎 Softball – Workouts: Aug 11 & 13 until 5:30 PM
Mandatory Tryouts: Aug 18, 20, & 21 until 5:30pm
🏈 Football – Tryouts begin Aug 18 until 5:30 PM
