Pender Early College High School will be hosting a parent information night.

This past week our Penderlea Beta students traveled to Concord, NC for the Regional Leadership Summit. They listened to dynamic speakers and their call to action for our students to make the best decisions and be the leaders for their communities! Our kids placed, and qualified for the National Convention in Orlando, Fl in the summer of 2025 in all four categories: Leadership, Collaboration Connection, Project Proposal and Lead Outside the Box. 2nd Quarter PBIS Celebration

SOCCER INFO: We will hold one final parent meeting for those who have not already attended a parent meeting this year and want to tryout for soccer. This is REQUIRED before your child is allowed to tryout for any sport. This final meeting will be Tues. 10/15 at 3:15pm. Mrs. Umphress will also be available to help with BigTeams/StudentCentral at this time. There will be a skills session on Wed. 10/16. Pickup is at 4:30pm. Tryouts will be Thurs and Fri 10/17 and 10/18. Students will only be allowed to stay for tryouts if they have all forms completed in BigTeams/StudentCental, are academically eligible, and have had a parent/guardian attend one of the parent meetings.

Good afternoon Penderlea Families, Just a friendly reminder that report cards for all students are going home today. Please note that due to our new information system (Infinite Campus), report cards may look a little different this time around. Here's a quick breakdown of some key changes: Grades K-5: Report cards for Kindergarten through 5th grade will be printed on regular paper for this term. This may change in the future, but for now, you'll receive them on regular paper. Grades 6-8: Parents of students in grades 6-8 may see additional "subjects" on their child's report card that don't have grades listed. We're still working on fine-tuning the system, and these areas couldn't be removed for this term. Here are the subjects that are NOT graded: Enrichment Spec Homeroom Lunch Recess If your child has STEM class, it may not appear on the report card. If STEM IS NOT listed, that means your student earned an A in the class. If they didn't get an A, it will be noted. Have Questions? We're Here to Help!
