In Friday's weekly announcements a very important event was not included. We are having our first awards ceremonies this Friday, January 12th! We are very excited about this opportunity to celebrate our students and all of their hard work. Parents will be notified by their child's teacher if he or she is getting and award. Please see the times below by grade level. We look forward to seeing you!

Penderlea School is our latest middle school to receive the Pender County Schools Staff Honor Roll Award for the 23-24 school year. The entire Penderlea coaching staff has achieved the Level 1 designation through the NFHS.
A commitment to professional development and personal growth is essential for providing our student-athletes the best possible experience during their time in Pender County Schools. Today is our final regular season soccer game at Burgaw Middle School! This game will be played at Pender Memorial Park in Burgaw, NC. The games will begin at 3:30pm. (or as soon as refs arrive) The cost is $5 cash only at the gate. We will see you there!
It was a great night to celebrate our 8th grade Hornet soccer players! Congrats to both teams on a W. The 8th graders really put on a show for their last game on Penderlea turf. ⚽️ 🐝 #feelthesting
