Dear Penderlea Supporter,
We greatly appreciate all our community resources that go above and beyond to support our school and our Penderlea Athletic Boosters Club. We have been working hard to make our Fall Festival fundraising event scheduled for this Sat, Nov 11th, from 10am-2pm a success. Unfortunately, due to high volume of resources unexpectedly being unable to attend this week for various reasons we are having to make the tough decision to postpone this event. While we are all understandably saddened by this outcome we are very excited to be able to reschedule for a new date in the spring. Please keep tuned in to our Facebook page and monthly emails for when that date is announced. Our community coming together to support our school and student athletes is always an enjoyable time and it’s because of you, our amazing supporters, that we are able to make that happen. Again, we greatly appreciate each of you and will be in touch with upcoming events. Thank you!
Appreciatively,
Penderlea Athletic Boosters

Next week will be National Career Development Month Spirit Week!

This Saturday, November 11th, from 10am until 2pm will be our Penderlea Fall Festival! Please make plans to join us for a family friendly event supporting our Hornet athletes! There will be carnival games ($4 per child for all day play), a touch-a-truck area (with the famous BIG tire), a dance area for showing off your moves, and you can witness one lucky staff member or coach receive a pie in the face! Beginning tomorrow, November 7th, jars will be brought around to classrooms to collect donations for the ultimate pie in the face event. There will also be collection jars on Saturday at the fall festival. The staff member or coach who raises the most money will be pie'd in the face during the festival! No donation is too small to get your favorite person pie'd! The opening ceremony will begin at 10:00am with a time to honor our Veterans. We will have chicken wing plates, hot dogs, and street taco plates for sale so come hungry! We can't wait to see you & your family on Saturday!

Today's soccer game has been RESCHEDULED. There will also be no soccer practice today, Monday November 6th.

Mr. Kessler’s sixth grade social studies class recently finished studying ancient Egypt. They completed a project in which students conducted research on their own and created some fantastic models of the Egyptian pyramids, which they presented to the class. Some were even edible! Great work, future historians!
