Ms. Kelly Lanier serves as the PE teacher at Penderlea School. She is known for building connections with students and families and working to make sure every student feels welcome and valued at school.
What stands out about Ms. Lanier is her flexibility and willingness to step in wherever she is needed. This year, she moved into the PE role and quickly began looking for ways to build a program that reflects the needs and interests of her students.
One example is her work with the Penderlea community to secure donations of additional PE equipment. Those donations are giving students more opportunities to participate in activities and try new things during class.

This event was completely student-led! Students from each grade level took the lead and taught one of the 8 Habits to visiting families through interactive presentations and hands-on activities. We are so proud of our student leaders for taking charge, sharing their knowledge, and making the evening such a wonderful success!

Penderlea is starting a Running Club! This is for students in 5th-8th grades. Students must have a physical on file and have a signed waiver.
Sports Physical
We'll be here from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, and families are welcome to stop by anytime during the evening.
As you make your way through the activity stations, you'll learn more about the 8 Habits, participate in activities together, enjoy a snack, and complete a take home craft.
We are excited to spend the evening with our families and hope you can join us. Thank you for partnering with us as we work together to help our students grow as leaders both at school and at home.
