❤this - Cape Fear Middle's Samara Wright was recognized as the first recipient of the Pender County Sheriff's Office "Challenge Coin Award". Sgt. Kittlaus presented the award to Samara for placing a priority on the wellbeing of others, helping to secure assistance for a person in need and helping to foster an atmosphere of caring by her everyday example. The "Challenge Coin Award" is presented to someone that demonstrates exceptional character, values and conduct while furthering the mission of the PCSO and demonstrating a true heart for service.
