🚨 Water Update 🚨 Hwy 421 leak near Montague Rd. A boil water advisory is in effect for several of our schools 💧 MCE, PLE, PHS, CFE, CFM, HTHS, RPE. Bottled water is being provided on campuses. There is no impact for CFPE, BMS, PECHS, WPMS or for any schools on east side.
After the stormy weather in the area, there is currently a power outage that is affecting South Topsail Elementary. Rest assured, all students are safe and accounted for. Your child's safety remains our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

PCS has been made aware of a damaged fiber cable which is affecting internet and phone service at all Topsail and Surf City schools. Four County Electric is currently investigating the issue to determine the location of the cut.
Our students are using some "elbow grease" this summer while also learning some skills that pay bills. Meal prep, water jet cnc, carpentry, woodworking. Our CTE teachers and students are the epitome of excellence!

PCS CTE Summer Accelerator Week 1 for Rising 6th - 8th grade students was very successful. Students capped off their week with Industry recognized credentials and some beautification projects almost completed by our masonry and carpentry students!

Day 3 of CTE Summer Career Accelerator Camps and our students are still participating in highly engaging activities. Today students were able to make homemade pizza, do some welding, masonry and build benches in the wood shops.

Pender High School CTE Summer Accelerator Camp students are being exposed to careers and curriculum that will allow them to make an informed post-secondary decision. Students will either be enrolled, enlisted or employed upon graduation.
