Topsail Middle School STEM and Computer Science CTE Camps highly engaging activities. Today students learned the basics of block coding to send mini Spheros through space. Students also designed straw rockets for distance and began building air powered rockets for height.

Carson Major has been interning this summer at Topsail Animal Hospital. When we visited her, she was observing surgery. Carson will complete 120 hours with Topsail Animal Hospital this summer. She is excited to start applying for college in the fall as she wants to be a vet.


Olivia White, a rising junior at Pender HS, presented a session, "Life as a Student-Athlete", as part of the NCHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee to coaches and ADs. Olivia plays volleyball, basketball, and soccer at PHS 🏐🏀⚽


Emilie Therrassant, a graduating senior from Heide Trask, received the Jerry McGee Endowed Scholarship Tuesday morning. Emilie played volleyball and soccer at Trask and will be attending UNC Greensboro in the fall. #ExperienceTheExcellence 🏐⚽


PCS active! Madison Brewington, a graduating senior from Pender Early College, received the North Carolina Coaches Association Undergraduate Scholarship on Sunday evening. Madison will be attending Vanderbilt in the fall. #ExperienceTheExcellence


Congratulations to Denise Pollock Pender County Schools CTE Curriculum and Instruction Management Coordinator who was named the SouthEast Region CIMC OF THE YEAR!! She works tirelessly for our school district to ensure they are enrolled, enlisted or employed!
