Author and storyteller Willa Brigham joined us at TAES today for some educational fun! Her story, The Pizza Tree, is engaging to students and reinforces ideas about sharing.

Kindergarten students made ice pops after reading the Geodes book “Frank's Ice Pops” and learning about the invention of popsicles! What a fun and yummy STEAM activity to build off of our featured texts.

April is the month of the Military Child. TAE honors our military families!

Topsail Annandale has a new sign to reflect our name change. Thank you to Mr. English and the carpentry team from THS for the design and build. Thank you to Dr. Breedlove for helping get this done so quickly.

Join us today in celebrating our amazing media coordinators who instill a love and passion for reading in our students!

A Message from Pender County Schools
Bus Update for 282 & 322 this week 4/4 through 4/6
We are in desperate need of sub bus drivers. When drivers are out for various reasons, we do not have anyone who can drive for them. Due to the shortage, we have to run additional double routes as well as some triple routes to cover buses. If you know of anyone willing to drive a bus daily or from time to time, please email mary_seigler@pender.k12.nc.us.
On Tuesday 4/4 pm only, Bus 322 will be about an hour late, and students will be dropped off by bus 229.
On Wednesday 4/5 pm only, Bus 282 will be about 50 minutes late, and students will be dropped off by bus 291.
On Thursday 4/6, Bus 322 will be about 40 minutes late in the morning, and students will be picked up by bus 291.
On Thursday 4/6, Bus 322 will be about an hour late in the afternoon, and students will be dropped off by bus 229.
On Thursday 4/6, Bus 282 will be late in the afternoon. We do not have a driver at this time. We will be in touch when we have a plan.
*This schedule is subject to change if we find sub drivers. We will send out notifications (not phone calls) with any updates.

Mrs. Ray's class enjoyed a nature walk to learn more about living and non-living things.
