Mrs. Lynch’s students showed off their creativity and love for reading by decorating pumpkins to look like their favorite book characters! From classic stories to new favorites, each pumpkin was full of personality and imagination. 🍂✨ We love seeing our students bring books to life in such a fun and festive way! 🎉 New School-Wide PBIS Initiative! 🎉 Based on feedback from our parent survey this year, one of our big focuses this year is giving out more incentives for positive behavior. We’re excited to kick off our new Class SOAR Awards at TAES! 🌟 Each month, classes will work together to earn SOAR Awards by showing our school-wide expectations and positive behaviors. Every month will have a special focus, and for November, we’re focusing on Self-Control 🧠💪 Classes that consistently demonstrate self-control will earn SOAR Awards throughout the month. At the end of November, one class from each grade level will win a special Pizza Party! 🍕🎉 This is a great conversation starter to talk about with your students at home. You can also see our class tracker in the hall. Let’s make November a month full of great choices, teamwork, and self-control, TAES! 💙💛 #TAESSOARS #PBIS #SelfControl #Teamwork #PositiveBehavior

🧠✨ Spotlight: Sophie Heckerman

“Many people don’t realize that school psychologists do much more than testing. We support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being, collaborate with teachers and families to create positive learning environments, and help schools build systems that support all learners.”

Ms. Heckerman has been a school psychologist for 10 years (Four with PCS) and loves "the connections I get to make with students and staff".

We’re grateful for everything she does to support our students and staff! 💙
