When it comes to protecting children from fire, it is never too soon to be prepared. A huge thank you to the Pender County Fire Department for coming out to teach our student's about Fire Safety.

Mrs. Eubanks class had so much fun getting to see the firetruck on Friday! They were super excited when they found out they got to go inside of it! One of the favorite questions of the day was "Can we slide down the ladder?" Thankfully the fireman new exactly how to respond and explained how the ladder was for climbing! TAES is thankful for our first responders! Thank you for coming to speak with our students!

Mrs. Luke's class is learning and having fun! They are using place value disks to borrow, unbundle and regroup for multi-digit subtraction.

Mrs. Luke's class is using money as base ten units! What a fun way to bundle and regroup!

Mrs. Schott's class is having so much fun at their book tasting! They took details from the book...aka ingredients... to help them discover fun and interesting facts! What a yummy way to learn!

Mrs. Stewart's class is doing so well while participating in a Socratic seminar! They explore questions while using evidence from various text and art work to support their answers!

Mrs. Lee's students came in wearing green to support Mental Health Awareness, and ended up twinning by accident! What a cute and unplanned accident! TAES appreciates your support in sharing awareness!

Mrs.Bray and Mrs.Graham have partnered their students together for book buddies! We love seeing the collaboration between grade levels.
