
Our 2023 Veterans Day Concert honoring our military veterans was a success!! Our 2nd and 3rd graders were amazing. We apologize for our sound system issues throughout the performance, but these students didn't miss a beat - or a note!! Thank you to all who participated, and a special thank you to all veterans for their years of service.

During Module 1 of Wit & Wisdom, first graders are reading a text titled Waiting For The Biblioburro. To tie into learning about "A World of Books," Ms.Carlisle had students create Biblioburros in art class.

As Kindergartners have explored the five senses with Wit & Wisdom, Ms.Carlisle has deepened their knowledge through art. Did you know bats have sonic hearing because their sense of sight is poor?


Students used the printmaking process to create waves in connection to Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic woodblock print, Under the Wave off Kanagawa featured in Module 1. Plus they made scuba divers after reading their text about Jacques Cousteau. We love seeing the connections!

October is PCS Month of Awareness. This week we wore Orange for Bullying Prevention Awareness. Check out the work students completed during guidance!


Kindergarten students used Wit & Wisdom skills when exploring Mike's Farm with their 5 senses. This trip allowed them to build their background knowledge prior to starting Module 2, Once Upon a Farm. Students are excited to continue expanding their understanding of farm life!




The Master Gardeners visited TAES to teach us about soil and plants. Ms. Meehan’s first graders loved learning about plant life and planting lettuce seeds in our garden.
