Mrs. Bloodworth's kindergarten students "arrrgh" ready for 1st grade, but enjoying the last few weeks of school with some fun themed learning!

2nd grade was really excited to welcome Marine CSI: Coastal Science Investigation last week. The students learned how the salt marsh tidal creek food web is interwoven from animals of the marsh and how it can be altered by human interference, from overfishing to pollution.

Mrs. Wilson spent the evening at the Pender County Schools Awards Night celebrating this amazing TAES Teacher of the Year!!! Ms. Stacey Carlisle is one of the most talented art teachers ever! She is beyond deserving of this honor! Congrats Ms. Carlisle! Keep SOARing!

Catherine Doheny, Eva Leary, Kimberly O’Rorke, Dana Rejtig & Amanda Yablonski completed a year-long placement at Topsail Annandale Elementary for their fall 2022 field experience and spring 2023 internship! Thanks to Site Coordinator Laura Graham for sharing photos. Congrats!

Today starts Teacher Appreciation Week!! And our PTA is already making all the teachers feel special!

Mrs. Bloodworth's Bunch has been learning about how static electricity holds the balloon to our heads just like it helps pollen stick to the hair of bees. This aids in the pollination process.

The Springfest Art Show for Pender county was a big success!




Ali and Ari from Mrs. Luke's class wrote an essay all about Leonardo Di Vinci. Mrs. Carlisle was very impressed!

The Spring Fest is 5/6 9am-4pm in Burgaw. The students that were picked to display artwork can come anytime with their parent(s) during the Spring Fest to see their artwork displayed. We are located under the big white tent in the courthouse square. See you there!
