The end of the school year was so busy, we never celebrated the success of our Girls on the Run and Stride teams who ran a successful 5K on Sat 5/21! Rising 4th grader, Harper, came in 1st in her age group out of 108 students! Thanks to Mrs. Major, Mrs. Krieger, and Mrs. McGraw for coaching! Congrats to all of our Osprey runners!

This morning we were able to celebrate some of our Pirate neighbors… Many Topsail High School seniors did their final “Senior Walk” through our hallways today, where many of them attended elementary school. Congratulations to the Topsail High School class of 2022! We can’t wait to watch you SOAR!
Mrs. Wilson had the privilege of attending the Pender County Schools Awards Night to celebrate Topsail Elementary’s Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Laura Graham!!! Mrs. Graham is a phenomenal 3rd grade teacher and we are lucky to have her as a part of The Osprey Family! 💚🖤 Congrats Mrs. Graham!

TES staff spent several hours this evening in school safety training. Keeping our Osprey students and staff safe will always be our top priority! Thanks to the Pender County Sheriff’s Office for a phenomenal training!

The Pender County Schools Mobile Dental Clinic is at TES through July 2022. The clinic provides routine and basic dental treatment to ALL interested students, parents, and staff. If you would like to take advantage of these convenient, quality dental services, please complete the form sent home with your child and return it to their teacher or call 910-471-3250.

Teacher Appreciation Week is quickly approaching. We recognize and share our appreciation for all teachers, staff and administration during Teacher Appreciation Week which is held May 2-6. As the 2022 Statewide Primary is nearing (May 17), a reminder that the distribution or display of political materials is prohibited.
Mr. Mike Wiley spent a fantastic 45 minutes or so teaching our 4th graders about black history with a focus on Jackie Robinson and characters that he impacted. He used humor and empathy to portray his message.
