What a fantastic turnout for Family PE Week at TAES! 🎉 We loved seeing so many parents join us for a fun-filled week and experience a little glimpse of what a day in PE looks like for our Ospreys! It was a great time filled with movement, laughter, and making memories together.
A huge thank-you to all the families who came out to participate and make the week so special. And, of course, a big shout-out to Coach Redd for organizing such a fun and engaging week for our students and families!

Mrs. Coopers students had a great time participating in the Socratic seminar from the book "Love that Dog". They were guided by the focusing question, what does it mean to have a great heart, figuratively and literally.

After reading My Mouth Is a Volcano by Julia Cook, our second graders took on the Toothpaste STEM Challenge. Students worked together to try to put toothpaste back into the tube while testing which tool worked best.
Along the way, they discovered an important lesson: just like toothpaste, our words can be difficult to take back. A fun STEM challenge with a great reminder to think before we speak!

In Science, 4th graders are investigating how motion energy moves and changes. In this lesson, they had different stations where they made observations about how motion energy can change into sound, light, and heat!
The stations included a 'guitar station', noisemaker station, jumping jacks station, and more!
