Some of Mrs. Pastore’s 3rd graders enjoy reading to Mrs. Edwards' 1st graders twice a week. 📚

Mrs. Faircloth and Mrs. Rodger's 5th grade classes practiced balanced and unbalanced forces today in science!

Mrs. Burnett's third grade class is enjoying hands on math as they work on equivalent fractions on a number line. Keep up the great work, mathematicians!

Mrs. Hughes' first grade class is learning about informational writing. What better way than to write a how-to paper about making dirt cups. Yum! ✏️ 🪱 😋

Congratulations to Mrs. Appelson's 2nd grade classroom. They are the most recent winner of the Golden Trash Can. Mr. Jeff noticed that these kids are working hard to keep their desks and floors clean while also organizing their materials. Keep up the great work 2nd grade!

Tonight is the night! Come shop with your families at our spring Scholastic Book Fair!

Mrs. Holt's 3rd Grade class made salt dough islands to show what they have learned about landforms.

Mrs. Wilkie, Mrs.R, and Mrs. Batts' class enjoyed a great day with the Master Gardener ladies. They learned about the life cycle of a butterfly and in the afternoon they water colored butterflies.

Mrs. Mitchell and Mrs. Harbin's Kindergarten classes enjoyed an in-school field trip with the Ecological Marine group. They learned about about living and nonliving things.

3rd graders, Mackenzie and Brynn read a book to Mrs. McDonald's kindergarten class. They read fluently and clearly and were also able to answer questions from the students. Great job Brynn and Mackenzie.

Mrs. Livesey went back home to Rhode Island over spring break and brought back some items for a taste test. Their class invited Mrs. Smith's students over too to taste coffee milk and Del's lemonade. Then they tallied their favorites and wrote an opinion piece on why they chose Del's or coffee milk. Even Mr. Allen and Mrs. Robins had a taste!
