A HUGE shout out to our Science Olympiad Team. The team put forth a great effort this weekend and many kids won in their event. Thank you to Mrs. Parrish, Dr. Martin, Ms. Faircloth, Ms. Vincent-Horne, Ms. Parker, Ms. Powell, and Ms. Albertson who put in a lot of after school hours for this team. Thanks for leading future scientists and instilling the love of exploration & discovery in each one of them!

We're thankful for our wonderful Mrs. Davidson, Digital Learning Specialist, who recently taught a lesson to Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Allen's 2nd grade classes. She taught them how to use digital tools to create a digital book in Wit and Wisdom.

Kindergarten took some time today to notice and wonder about real goats. They are wrapping up their Wit and Wisdom module two unit Once Upon a Farm. 🐐

Congratulations to Mila, Anna, McKenna & Annabelle for making it to the regional Science Fair at UNCW this weekend. Annabelle and McKenna received a special award for their project from the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. We are super proud of all 4 of you!




We had a great time showering Mrs. Petre this week and are excited for the arrival of baby Myles in March. 👦🏼💙

Students in Mrs. Collins' 5th grade class created offspring from the genes from mom and dad to practice their understanding of recessive and dominant genes. They randomly drew cards from each parents’ gene trait. This was a fun hands on activity!
