Penderlea Winter Arts and Science Night

Mrs. White’s science classes used genetics to create unique snowman/gingerbread man salt dough ornaments! Students rolled dice to determine what alleles their character would have for each trait such as curly hair vs straight hair or green eyes vs blue eyes. Then, they used their knowledge of traits and genotypes to represent the different phenotypes their snowman/gingerbread man would have for each characteristic!
