Mrs. White’s 7th graders have been learning about forces and motion.
To demonstrate their knowledge, students designed and built balloon
cars from recycled materials! After racing, students calculated both
the speed of their car as well as the force that was used to help put
their cars into motion!

Mrs. Kessler’s 8th grade classes are reading The Outsiders. She wanted to build some excitement and help students gain an appreciation for the 60’s. After having done some research on fashion, politics, cars, music, hairstyles, etc, students were able to check out some beautiful vehicles from the time period. We would like to thank Mr. Harvey and Mr. Ted Hammond for allowing us to view their cars. They even revved them up for us to experience the power behind their massive engines. This was so cool! We love when the community gets involved and helps our students get excited to learn.
