Chris Schiele and Gregory Greene attended the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) summit this past weekend, representing Pender High School. This is a great opportunity for our students to gain valuable leadership experience, to network with business professionals, and build relationships with peers across the region. Thank you to the Burgaw Rotary Club for sponsoring these two students!

Basketball is home tonight! Updates for tonight: 1. All students in grades K-8 must have an adult chaperone upon entry to the games. The chaperones are responsible for the students' care and supervision on campus. 2. Any re-entry to the game will require the purchase of another ticket. 3. While attending an athletic event, spectators must respect the other spectators. Movement in the gymnasium should be restricted to bathrooms and the concession stand. Also, per building safety codes, all stairways should remain clear to allow for the safe passage of individuals. 4. No loitering or roaming around the hallway or areas outside the gymnasium. Spectators should remain seated unless noted above. Also, students and spectators who fail to follow these guidelines could be removed from the event and restricted from other afterschool activities.

Here are a few guidelines for maintaining a game environment that is supportive of athletes and comfortable for all spectators. 1. Spectators should remain seated unless noted above. Also, students and spectators who fail to follow these guidelines could be removed from the event and restricted from other afterschool activities.
