Did you know that Pender County has less instructional days than 94% of NC school districts?
Three keys to maximize our time together...
1) All students need a hall pass to be in the halls during instructional time.
2) Parents, cell phones should be off and out of sight. Need to speak with your child? Call the front office!
3) Carpool works best if you pull your vehicle up as close to the end of the sidewalk as possible.
Due to field conditions, there will be no away football game tomorrow. Both schools are working to make up this game. We will update you as soon as we have further information. Thank you.

Day 1 of the 2023-2024 school year was a successful one at Pender High School! Thank you for doing your part to ensure a strong start for your child. Our team appreciates the patience you extended to us to make certain school schedules are full and meaningful!
Please take a moment to ask your child about their first day of school. Excited and nervous were the two most common responses from students, I received. There is an anticipation and expectation of excellence in the air at Pender High School!
Please help us remind students to remind you to discuss our PHS Student Handbook. It contains information to keep our school safe and successful.
A few key items of note. Hats/head coverings are not to be worn in the building. Leaving them at home, car, bag are better options.
Cell phones are to be off and out of site.
All students in hallways or common spaces during instructional times should have an approved hall pass.
Please inspect the dress of your child before they depart for school each day. Your assistance in interpreting modest dress is encouraged and appreciated.
