Grace Bordeaux won 1st Place in 12th Grade Biomedical Health Science at the State Beta Club Convention.

Chloe Moore won 1st place in Division I Color Photography at the State Beta Club Convention.

Miya, Genesis, and Madi won 1st Place in Accessorized Design at the State Beta Club Convention.

Madison Culifer won 2nd Place for 12th Grade Agriscience at the State Beta Club Convention.

Alyna Rooks won 2nd Place in Ninth Grade Biomedical Health Science at the State Beta Club Convention.

Katlyn Iddings won 3rd place in the Eleventh Grade Biomedical Health Science at the State Beta Club Convention.

Pasco Horton won 3rd Place in Division I Woodworking at the State Beta Club Convention.

Ellie Williams not only placed 4th in the Performing Arts Solo, Duo, Trio Dancers category, but she also was given a Golden Ticket to be a Premier Performer at Nationals this summer.

Lexi Milam won 4th Place in Ninth Grade Social Studies at the State Beta Club Convention.

Jensen Bordeaux won 4th place in Tenth Grade Biomedical Health Science at the State Beta Club Convention.

Olivia Gurganus won 4th place in the Club Trading Pin category at the State Beta Club Convention.

Sam Echols and Kimora Lisane are two members of the team that placed 4th in the Campaign Skit at the State Beta Club Convention.

Luis Cruz made the honor roll. MLL students are honored by MLL for honor roll/principals list with a bag of candy. Good grades are sweet.

Mr. Green completed his Pathway One Understanding Multilingual Learners PD training and received a certificate for doing so. We are excited to recognize his efforts.

The 23-24 Head Girls’ Basketball Coach will be Michelle McCoy. She replaces Coach Floyd. She played basketball at North Brunswick and East Bladen High Schools as well as Brunswick Community College. She will also teach public safety.

Mrs. Tina Welborn was named PHS's Teacher of the Year. She graduated from UNCW with a degree in Spanish and a Masters in Instructional Design.
