Update...right date, wrong day! ACT Workkeys testing is tomorrow, March 17th! This assessment is for students who are CTE concentrators currently enrolled in Sr English.

Congratulations to our FFA Club on their wins last week!

ATTENTION SENIORS: Graduation materials will be delivered this Friday during all 3 lunches!

Good afternoon Pender High School families,
Due to the threat of severe weather expected on Monday, March 16, 2026, Pender County Schools will operate on a remote learning and work day for all staff and students.
Forecasts continue to show the potential for severe storms, including damaging wind gusts and possible tornadoes, during the day on Monday. Out of an abundance of caution and to help ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families, we have made the decision to move to remote learning and remote work for the day.
All afterschool activities are canceled.
We encourage all families to continue monitoring local weather conditions and to stay safe.
Thank you for your understanding.
We understand that not all students have their Chromebooks at home and that is ok. You can use different devices at home to access their ClassLink, or students will have extra days to make up any work when they get back to school and get their Chromebooks. Please access student email/Google Classroom and be on the lookout for direct communication from your child's teacher.

📢This is the LAST week to purchase prom tickets and submit your application to run for Prom king or queen. 👑

Today is the LAST day to purchase a yearbook or Sr ad! To place your order - go to: yearbookordercenter.com

👀See anyone you know Class of '92?

Only THREE days left to order your yearbook or Senior ad! Everything closes out on March 15, 2026! Place your order at yearbookordercenter.com

BEST of the BEST is this weekend! Wishing BOTH of our Raider teams the best!

50th Pender High School Teacher of the Year: Mr. Wes High
We are proud to announce Mr. Wes High as our Teacher of the Year, a recognition selected by his peers in honor of his outstanding dedication to our school community.
As a Multilingual Learner teacher, Mr. High supports our entire school through impactful literacy strategies that engage every learner and strengthen classroom instruction across grade levels. In addition, he leads our thriving Juntos programming, building meaningful connections with families and helping students succeed both academically and personally.
A true team player and master educator, Mr. High consistently exemplifies our school’s vision and mission in action. As a previous Order of the Patriot recipient, his commitment to service, collaboration, and excellence continues to inspire both colleagues and students.
We are grateful for Mr. High’s leadership and proud to have him represent our school as Teacher of the Year. Our faculty was proud to celebrate alongside his wife and children in a surprise ceremony prior to the start of the school day. We invite our community to celebrate him in your own meaningful way. Pender High is a great place to work and learn, with direct causation tied back to Mr. High's impact on student outcomes.
