Seniors - don't forget tomorrow is Sr Kickoff! Senior pictures, parking spots, meet your new college advisor, and just get ready for the new school year! For those of you taking pictures - those will take place in the gym. If you need to purchase a parking pass, please head over to ROTC in Bibby Hall. Check your emails for proper forms and more detailed information!

🛡️ As part of the Protecting Our Students Act (S.L. 2023-128), these age-appropriate videos help students recognize and report signs of abuse, neglect, or unsafe situations and emphasize that reporting is always confidential.

🎉🚗The first Annual PHS Car Show is happening soon! Be sure to come out and show your support on August 23rd as we will have food, fun, and classic cars on hand.✨ This event is for our first ever PHS Scholarship! We would like to thank all of the local businesses for their donations for raffle prizes as well as a special thank you to Nash Equipment for sponsoring the awards for this event! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Band camp is around the corner - are you ready? Be sure to check the dates and times! Leadership, percussion & color guard will meet August 6 - August 8, from 9am to 12pm. ALL marching band students will need to report to camp August 11 - August 15 from 9am to 3pm. A parent meeting will take place on August 15 at 3pm. It is time to get ready for school! Schedules are now available in Infinite Campus - please take some time to check your schedule for the upcoming school year. There is a NEW PROCESS for schedule changes this year - be sure to follow directions! ALL students received emails today with detailed steps on this process, please refer to your school email for more information! Schedule changes for BOTH semesters is happening NOW - the deadline for BOTH semester changes is 4pm, August 26th.

Juntos Summer Academy was a success! Our eight Pender County student participants were repeatedly commended for their politeness, friendliness, humor, and, professionalism. While at camp students created science projects, worked on public speaking, attended a college fair, visited a career fair, toured modern innovative companies, and also made time for fun! Everyone was tired, but enriched from the week-long 4H camp. We can’t wait for next year’s camp!

Congratulations to our PHS Beta students on their outstanding achievements at the National Beta Convention last week! Their hard work throughout the year paid off with 11 trophies! A special thank-you to ALL of our sponsors and supporters who helped make this trip possible: Burgaw Rotary, Milam Plumbing, Pender Athletic Club, Burgaw Kiwanis, Attorney Zach Rivenbark, our parents, and our local community. We couldn’t have done it without you!
