It is Mental Health Awareness Week and here at PHS, Mrs. Hopkins is working with students to find alternative ways to deal with stress. Today she led a short session on relaxation and breathing techniques to help students let go and focus when dealing with such a busy schedule. She also encouraged the use of stress relief manipulatives to help your mind “let go” of all the worries and have some fun! To end the day, students and staff worked together to color a piece of artwork that will be featured in the PHS Student Services when completed. School picture day for grades 9-11 will take place on next Wednesday, October 4th. Picture day information was sent home this week in all first period classes. Senior makeup picture day will take place on October 18th - sign ups will start next week!
