WEEKEND WARRIORS! This past weekend, PHS staff, students, and community members worked together to volunteer at various events across the county. Our ROTC Color Guard was on call in Topsail to present the colors at the Topsail Festival, while other ROTC members worked as volunteers for the Inaugural Burgaw Autumn Festival. In addition to this, there were over 100 staff, students, and family members working the bike route of the Ironman 70.3 race out of Wilmington. Volunteers helped with course directions through the back roads of Currie, while others handed out Gatorade and water to bikers as they passed by. Overall, over 130 volunteers worked together to give back to our community! #PatriotPride #PenderStrong #GivingBack
