We continue to monitor the evolving weather forecast.
✅ Tuesday, January 21: Early release for students. All after-school activities, including PACES and athletics, are canceled.
✅ Wednesday, January 22: Schools will operate on a two-hour delay at minimum.
We will provide an update on Tuesday if further changes, including remote learning, are necessary.

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Pender County Schools will move to an early release schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Please join us in celebration, appreciation, and a standing ovation. Affirming that it is okay to shed a tear too. On 1/21/25, Assistant Principal, Rhonder Smith will transition to a new role down the road as Principal of Cape Fear Elementary School. As for PHS, we have a plan. Our house is in order. However, on this day, we ask our community to show some love in honor of her investment in the next great generation. She is one of one. Period. Keep her in your prayers as she continues to impact our greater community in the years ahead. Forever grateful, Pender High School

Soccer workouts are Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30. For athletes not participating in winter sports, the parent meeting will be held on January 22nd at 5:15. Thank you.
Weekly schedule and it is a busy week for basketball!
Softball workouts will begin for pitchers and catchers only and will start tomorrow, January 13th, from 4-6. Please make sure you have your gear and dress accordingly for the weather. Again, this is for the skill positions of pitchers and catchers only, per coach Lunsford. Thank you.
