This week, four of our Pender High students put their masonry skills to the test at the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® Jr. Competition!
👏 Sam Howell earned an impressive 4th-place finish in the individual competition!
👏 Carlos, Gabe, and Jeff did an outstanding job representing Pender High in the team competition, showcasing their skills, teamwork, and dedication!
A huge THANK YOU to Mr. Dixon for providing our students with incredible hands-on learning opportunities and giving them the chance to showcase their talents beyond the classroom!

Human Quadratic Graphing in Math 2 today! Students had to work in teams to convert standard form into vertex form and identify 5 points, including the vertex, to be able to create a life-size parabola. What a great way to visualize the mathematical process in real time! Way to go Ms. Day and our Math 2 students!

PHS/CFCC Automotive class is up and running!! This morning our students have proven to be incredibly efficient and capable. Because of their great pace, they are working on 2–3 vehicles in the morning and same for the afternoon. Students are completing oil changes, tire rotations, tire mounting, and General ScanTool Diagnostic/code reading. We are EXCITED and PROUD of our students under the leadership of our CFCC Automotive instructor!
