PHS Open House is tomorrow from 4-6pm . We are excited for your return to school!

Make sure to support your Patriots this week! Volleyball, soccer, football, Open House, and a car show! Plenty of opportunities to get involved and show your Patriot Pride!

5 days! Super excited to see everyone this Saturday! We will have some awesome raffle prizes, TOP 20 awards, and yummy food to purchase. Reminder, all proceeds go to the 50th Anniversary Scholarship Fund. Should we need to reschedule due to weather, the rain date will be September 6th - same time, same place!

New this year, Pender County Schools will implement Clear Bag Policy 5021 for all major events held on the campus of PCS high schools, including football and basketball games.

Except for the approved exceptions to the clear bag policy listed below, all bags carried by event attendees must be either a) clear plastic or vinyl bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” in size, or b) clear plastic freezer/sandwich bags (gallon-size or smaller). All attendees carrying non-approved bags will be denied entry and asked to return the bag to their vehicle or other off-campus location before entering the event.

Approved exceptions: (need not be clear, but will be subject to appropriate inspection at the entrance)

Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a hand), with or without a handle or strap
Medically necessary items
Diaper bags with an attending infant/toddler

Gearing up for a busy week at PHS!

Seniors - don't forget tomorrow is Sr Kickoff! Senior pictures, parking spots, meet your new college advisor, and just get ready for the new school year! For those of you taking pictures - those will take place in the gym. If you need to purchase a parking pass, please head over to ROTC in Bibby Hall. Check your emails for proper forms and more detailed information!

Football Fans! We are still on for our football scrimmage tonight against Richlands! Start time is 6:00, and the cost is $5.00. We accept cash or card payments. Thanks, and hope to see you there!

📢 North Carolina law now requires all public schools to show safety education videos to students in grades 6–12 within the first five days of the school year.

🛡️ As part of the Protecting Our Students Act (S.L. 2023-128), these age-appropriate videos help students recognize and report signs of abuse, neglect, or unsafe situations and emphasize that reporting is always confidential.

🎥 Pender County Schools is committed to complying with this mandate and making sure students know how to stay safe and seek help if needed. Look for information from your school in your email or sent home with your student once classes begin.

🎉🚗The first Annual PHS Car Show is happening soon! Be sure to come out and show your support on August 23rd as we will have food, fun, and classic cars on hand.✨ This event is for our first ever PHS Scholarship! We would like to thank all of the local businesses for their donations for raffle prizes as well as a special thank you to Nash Equipment for sponsoring the awards for this event! We are looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Band camp is around the corner - are you ready? Be sure to check the dates and times! Leadership, percussion & color guard will meet August 6 - August 8, from 9am to 12pm. ALL marching band students will need to report to camp August 11 - August 15 from 9am to 3pm. A parent meeting will take place on August 15 at 3pm. Students should report to the band room - on time and dressed appropriately! Any questions? Contact Ms. Lambert!

The PHS Fall Sports Parent/Athlete Meeting is August 4th at 6:30 p.m. Reminder: All students must have their forms completed on Student Central, along with an updated physical. Thank you!
