Take a look at our April-Staff Member of the Month at CFES! Nurse Shelley and Ms. Bass! We had a tie on the winners and it is perfect that these two ladies were chosen. Nurse Shelley and Ms. Bass are a huge impact on our school and community. They are constantly going above and beyond for our students, and this is just a small gesture of appreciation. THANK YOU both! Not to forget our March-Staff Member of the Month... It was Ms. Younginer! Thank you for all you do!

Sing. Play. CREATE! Performance skills carry over from a student’s fine arts education to other facets of their life. Students learn how to be confident in front of a crowd. They practice how to handle themselves on stage and continue their performance even when things don’t go as planned. These skills provide our students with confidence for other moments in their academic and social lives. 1st Graders in music had the opportunity to create their own rhythmic composition and perform them in front of class on an instrument of their choice! The focus was spring time and all of the changes that happen throughout the season. Their compositions were completed all alone with little guidance. These students really out did themselves. Maybe in a few years we will listen to their music on Spotify or Pandora!
