📚 Teacher Tuesday - Shanna Henry, Preschool Teacher at Cape Fear Elementary School! 🌟🍎
🧒 24 Years in Education | 👶 First Year in Pender County Schools
Ms. Henry has always had a heart for children, which led her to pursue a career in early childhood education. Now in her first year with the Pender County Preschool Program, she brings more than two decades of experience and a deep passion for helping young learners thrive.
Specializing in early childhood development, Ms. Henry loves working one-on-one with students, giving them the attention and care they need during these formative years.
Outside of the classroom, she’s a proud parent and a dedicated supporter of her children’s activities—especially Pender High School athletics and the JROTC program. ❤️🏫
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Henry to the PCS family and are grateful for the care and commitment she brings to our youngest learners!

Mrs Robertsons class has engaged in an extensive study on insects. They have been learning the characteristics of insects, identifying insects, and their habitats. Children practiced these skills through various activities. They had a special guest from Patriot Pest Control from Wilmington, NC to come and share what they do, how to keep pest out, how to stay safe around pest, and what protective wear they use when handling certain pest. She brought observational cubes of different insects for students to identify then read a story about identifying insects and bugs in the book.
