Today our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students participated in their very first Cub Council election!
Over the past few weeks, our candidates learned about campaigning, leadership, and the voting process. Students cast their ballots during their lunch periods, and excitement filled the building as everyone took part in this real-world civic experience. We wrapped up the day with the announcement of our Cub Council winners. We are so proud of every student who ran, voted, and supported their classmates—what a great start to student leadership at CFE! Winners will be posted soon.

Congratulations to our November Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Grochan! We are excited to honor Ms. Grochan for her dedication, positivity, and the many ways she supports our students and staff each day. Her hard work and commitment make a meaningful impact on our CFE community, and we are truly grateful for all she does.

🎈 It wasn’t Balloons Over Broadway… it was Balloons Around CFE! 🎈 And what a treat it was! Our halls came alive with color, creativity, and so much student excitement. What a magical way to celebrate the season! 💛💙

Mrs. Bass' class learned about the Macy's Day Parade, how to make balloons, and we made our own!

Ms. Hill and Mrs. Lawrence’s classes wrapped up their Wit & Wisdom module with a fun celebration showcasing their end of module writing and Adobe projects. They even had a few former teachers stop by to admire their JAWsome work! 🦈
Students also designed Thanksgiving parade balloons inspired by the sea creatures they studied in Wit & Wisdom texts. 🦑🌊🦈

Ms. Grochan’s class earned their 2nd attendance reward and celebrated with hat day!

Check out these disguise a turkey family projects from Mrs Robertsons Preschool class. This project allows children and families to work together, use creativity, and develop other essential skills such as fine motor, language, problem solving skills and much more. 

Mrs. Johnson’s class did a great job disguising their turkeys!!! We have Sonic the Hedgehog, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Spiderman & a gum-ball machine just to name a few!!

Kindergarten worked so hard disguising their turkeys, and their creativity is incredible.

Reminder: Thanksgiving Break begins this Wednesday.

Mrs. Johnson’s class celebrated their completion of the tree study today. The students presented their “tree projects” where they create their own trees at home. We also talked about their favorite part of the study and what they learned!
