Storm chasers at work! Our 21st CCLC students ran a temperature experiment to practice using scientific tools and making evidence-based predictions. Through hands-on activities, they explored evaporation, condensation, and precipitation, investigated what causes wind, and even built tornadoes-in-a-bottle. To finish, they watched a thrilling air-pressure demonstration—the can crusher.

Mrs Robertsons preschool class began a new study of the human body. There will be learning opportunities for exploring different parts of the body, the way they move, what parts and organs are for, and how to keep our bodies healthy. This week they have kicked off math and literacy activities that included counting teeth as they clean, step by step directions, beginning sounds of vocabulary, labeling and much much more.
