Storm chasers at work! Our 21st CCLC students ran a temperature experiment to practice using scientific tools and making evidence-based predictions. Through hands-on activities, they explored evaporation, condensation, and precipitation, investigated what causes wind, and even built tornadoes-in-a-bottle. To finish, they watched a thrilling air-pressure demonstration—the can crusher.

Mrs Robertsons preschool class began a new study of the human body. There will be learning opportunities for exploring different parts of the body, the way they move, what parts and organs are for, and how to keep our bodies healthy. The 21st Century students put some unexpected “weeding skills” to work today in the planter boxes—turns out they’re pretty good at it! They’re also very excited about getting to paint birdhouses for the school garden (future artists in the making 🎨). More garden greatness to come!
