BURGAW, NC - The contract for newly named Pender County Schools Superintendent Dr. Brad Breedlove has been finalized and signed by all parties.
Dr. Breedlove was approved as Superintendent of Schools during the October 17 Board of Education Meeting.
The contract is effective January 1, 2023 and runs through June 30, 2026 and will pay Dr. Breedlove $185,000 annually. During the period of the contract, Dr. Breedlove's salary will be reviewed at least annually by the Board. The Board may increase the Superintendent's salary at any time.
The Board may extend the terms of the contract to the extent permitted by state law and with consent of the Superintendent.
