TMS 5th-grade students recently took an end-of-year field trip to Carolina Ocean Studies. The "Island and Sound Exploration" program is designed to introduce students to the coast and its wonders. Marine educators were on board to add insights to our discoveries as the students participated in various hands-on experiences that made learning exciting. After boarding our vessel in Carolina Beach, we traveled through Myrtle Grove Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway before landing on Masonboro Island.
Just a reminder chromebooks and chargers are due today! Please check to be sure your child has turned them in! Last day for students is this Friday. Students will be on a early release schedule ending school at 11:30 AM.
This is just a quick reminder that TMS will be taking their Math EOGs tomorrow, Tuesday, May 14th. Please make sure students arrive to school on time with their charged Chromebooks.
We want to thank all the parents and PTO for wrapping up last week with an amazing “bar of yum” . Nautical Bowls came out to our school to serve yummy and healthy bowls as well. They were kind enough to offer us a generous discount and the balance was donated by Marsha Simmons from Sold Buy the Sea Realty. Thank you for the wonderful treats last week!

Day 3 teachers and staff were treated to biscuits donated by Chick-fil-A Porters Neck and coffee donated by Starbucks of Hampstead. Raffles were drawn and prizes were given away. A special room was set up for “shopping” and meditation from immersive coach, Matthew McDonald. Thank you once again for showing our teachers love 🏴☠️❤️
