This week our 7th grade science students hosted a media center exhibition of their whole-body systems projects. Peers and classes evaluated the displays, providing feedback and fostering a culture of peer assessment and scientific communication. Proud to see collaboration, creativity, and presentation skills in action.

TMS was able to celebrate Ms. Burgess yesterday as the Pender County BT of the Month for April!! Ms. Burgess, we are so proud of you and truly value all that you do and who you are! Keep shining your light SO bright!! 🌟

Parker "Basketball" Jones delivered an engaging and educational assembly at our school today — blending entertainment with important life lessons for our students.

UNCW’s Junior Seahawk Academy is back for Summer 2026 with hands-on experiences in STEM, healthcare, and teacher education. Students will explore real-world learning through live demonstrations and interactive activities.

Friday, April 3rd, Pender County Schools will be closed in observance of Good Friday. This is also the start of spring. We welcome students back in the building on Monday, April 13th.

All yearbook sales will end TODAY! There will be NO EXTRA YEARBOOKS SOLD.

Operation Military Kids Club joined forces with Topsail High School’s JROTC Raiders team for the club’s March meeting. After watching an impressive demo by the Raiders Team, OMKC members got to attempt the Team Physical Fitness Challenge, Rope Bridge, and 6ft wall climb. This opportunity gave Raiders members leadership experience, while increasing teamwork and camaraderie amongst OMKC members.

What an inspiring day! Our 7th grade class toured the Battleship North Carolina in Wilmington and left with new facts and a greater respect for the people who served on board during the war.

Mrs. Schlegel’s CTE sewing class made animal bandanas and donated them to Pender County Animal Shelter — what a way to share the love at TMS! 🐾

Big congratulations to our Topsail Battle of the Books team for winning FIRST PLACE at regionals! 🏆📚 Their hard work and teamwork paid off, and they’re advancing to the state competition. Way to go, students and coaches!
