Many thanks to Ben Finch, a successful entrepreneur, for coming to speak to Mrs. Turner's 8th Grade Business and Entrepreneurship class this week. He had students engaged by creating collaboratively in teams to come up with a business plan- from creating a logo, defining work roles, creating a menu, and then presenting their ideas as a sales pitch to the class.

Pink Out tomorrow for our games!
We hope to see you tonight for the 7th grade Autumn Arts concert at 6pm! The event is free and features the 7th grade band, 7th grade drama class, and the artwork of the Surf City Middle art classes. The concert with drama performances will be in the middle school gym.
Mrs. Dapper’s homeroom had a fun competition to see who could wear the most pink for today’s Spirit Day. One student even spray painted their hair pink!
