The Surf City Sharks pulled off an incredible 20-6 win last night against the previously undefeated Cape Fear Middle School—the same team they lost to in their season opener, making this victory even sweeter! It was a night to remember, especially as it was 8th Grade Recognition Night, a special event to celebrate the hard work and leadership of our amazing 8th grade players.
Colby Roberts had a great performance with two touchdowns, while Robo De’Leon added 1 more touchdown to the scoreboard. The defense played tough all night, with big plays across the board, highlighted by Roman Harris’s clutch fumble recovery that gave the Sharks another key possession.
It was a true team effort, fueled by the support of our amazing fans!
The Sharks came out with intensity, focus, and determination, proving just how far they’ve come since that first game. . What a night for the Sharks — way to bounce back and finish strong!
Way to go, Sharks!

The softball team had a thrilling comeback victory over Penderlea yesterday. After being down 7-3, they rallied and scored 10 runs in the 5th inning. Reagan Frost and Reagan Gilliland supplied the pitching, Avery Mulkusky and Gilliland led the way with 2 hits, while no doubt Reagan Ferris's loudness stirred the troops to victory! The last home game will be Monday. Come cheer on the Sharks!

The stands were packed with cheering fans as Colby Roberts led the way with three touchdowns, while Robo De’Leon and Xander Scaldaferri each powered in for 1 touchdown of their own.
