Check out Mrs. Curry's first graders learning all about fluency. They are reading with expression, paying attention to punctuation and reading in phrases with their poems each day. On Friday they'll celebrate by having a Poetry Slam where each student gets to show off their fluent reading in front of the class by reading the poem they practiced all week.

Let's help support our middle school band program! This Saturday they are having a used instrument drive and are interested in ANY instrument. New, used, or broken doesn't matter, they'll take anything. Most of these instruments will be used to help students who cannot afford an instrument to be able to participate in band in the coming years.
