Mrs. Taylor's first grade class had authors day today! They researched all month for black history, researched on PebbleGo, wrote a rough draft and typed up a final copy! Today they read their writing to their families! Great work first graders!

Mrs. Wyatt's EC class worked on a reading comprehension lesson today that incorporated measuring by comparing their arm spans to that of an orangutan. How long is the arm span of an orangutan you ask? If you guessed 8 feet you are correct!

Mrs. Curry's first graders learned how to work together to complete a Venn diagram to compare and contrast. They did a great job! 🐢 💙





We've helped raise money for our school with the recent Fun Run. ➡️ We've helped collect cereal boxes for our community food pantry. ➡️ Now we're going to continue the helping spirit to help in a global capacity by colleting coins to help the victims of the Turkey/Syria earthquake.


Our awesome PTA has teamed up with Low Tide Steakhouse to bring you a delicious SPIRIT night this month! On February 22 bring your family and enjoy a great meal while supporting our school!
