
Mrs. Wyatt's EC class worked on a reading comprehension lesson today that incorporated measuring by comparing their arm spans to that of an orangutan. How long is the arm span of an orangutan you ask? If you guessed 8 feet you are correct!

We've helped raise money for our school with the recent Fun Run. ➡️ We've helped collect cereal boxes for our community food pantry. ➡️ Now we're going to continue the helping spirit to help in a global capacity by colleting coins to help the victims of the Turkey/Syria earthquake.


Our awesome PTA has teamed up with Low Tide Steakhouse to bring you a delicious SPIRIT night this month! On February 22 bring your family and enjoy a great meal while supporting our school!

Last week, Mrs. Stephenson's ELA classes enjoyed Football Week. Her kiddos paired their ELA time with the excitement of football. They incorporated teamwork, perseverance and fun! Rumor has it, there were some tie games and today was overtime. 🏈 📖

Our awesome 4th graders, Stephen, Kayson and Gio, earned the Exemplary award for their project at the regional science fair. This means they will go on to represent SCE at the State Science Fair which is held in March at NC State in Raleigh.
